Sometimes I have to pause and let moments like this REALLY sink in. 🥹🎬

We just found out projects we were part of received TWO more Telly Awards. 🏆🏆

Both projects won Silver in the General Non-Profit category and this time… seeing my own name included in the credits honestly meant a lot to me.

What’s wild is these awards are not just about filmmaking. They represent collaboration, community, storytelling, purpose, long hours, believing in people, and using media to create impact.

A couple years ago, I would’ve never imagined being part of award-winning projects like this. Now I’m sitting here realizing how important it is to KEEP SHOWING UP even when you’re doubting yourself.

I’m incredibly grateful to work alongside talented people and organizations who care deeply about the stories being told and the people behind them.

This also feels like confirmation that the work happening in Flint and through Flint Film Foundation matters. 💛

Big news for Flint. 🎬🏆

We are incredibly honored to share that Flint Michigan Films received THREE Telly Awards for our project “My First.”

🥇 Gold — General: Fundraising & Appeals
🥇 Gold — Craft: Videography & Cinematography
🥈 Silver — Craft: Voice Acting & Narration

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens and are judged by industry leaders from major production companies, networks, streaming platforms, and creative agencies. 

For a team from Flint to be recognized on this level is something we do not take lightly.

This award is about more than a trophy. It’s proof that powerful stories can come from THIS city. That creativity lives here. That hard work, passion, long nights, believing in people, and taking chances matter.

To everyone who has supported Flint Michigan Films, trusted us with your stories, collaborated with us, encouraged us, shared our work, donated, showed up, or simply believed in what we are building here… thank you. 💛
