Flint Area Writers The Flint Area Writers is a group of people who are actively writing, not simply thinking of writing.

The Flint Area Writers (established in 1942 as Flint Writers’ Club) is a group of people who are actively writing, not simply thinking of writing. Our goal is improving our writing and, for many of us, eventual publication. Our members come from many walks of life, and work in diverse genres, including short and longer fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. If you are interested in joining us, we welco

me serious writers from beginners to accomplished authors. We are not a social club, although we do socialize outside regular meetings. Prospective members are encouraged to visit us at least once before applying for membership. You are welcome as a guest at any meeting; however, only members may read for critiquing.
