UM-Flint recently welcomed international guests for an exchange centered on learning, collaboration and expanding opportunities in health care education. By bringing together educators and professionals from different parts of the world, partnerships like these create new perspectives and help prepare future practitioners to serve diverse communities.

Ukrainian health care and education leaders visited UM-Flint to strengthen occupational therapy education, clinical training and rehabilitation services through Rehab4U.

The future of health care isn't just being studied—it's being shaped. Two UM-Flint nursing students recently engaged in conversations that will help influence the future of patient care, education and health policy. From learning how decisions are made to seeing advocacy in action, these students gained a firsthand look at how nurses can drive change far beyond the bedside. 💛💙

Through community collaboration and a commitment to making a difference, our students are proving that real change starts with action. 💛💙

Creative collaboration can be a powerful tool for connection, reflection and community engagement. By creating space for expression and dialogue, a new initiative from the College of Arts, Sciences and Education, is demonstrating how the arts can foster empathy, encourage personal growth and strengthen human connection across different lived experiences.
