Please help us welcome Vincent L. Price, Jr. to the Ruth Mott Foundation as our new Program Officer. Vincent joined our team in June and is a north Flint native. He brings a wealth of experience working with students and families in Flint. He most recently served as the Project Director for Workforce Development at Mott Community College. We are excited to have him join us as we serve the Flint community.

The The Sankofa Project for Social Justice, Arab American Heritage Council, and Flint Alliance for Immigrant Rights - FAIR invite our community to come together for a special learning event on August 29th exploring the connections between Black Liberation and Immigrant Justice movements.
The Sankofa Project for Social Justice and FAIR will also be partnering on August 22 for a Community Teach-In. Please share, these are free events!

The The Sankofa Project for Social Justice, Arab American Heritage Council(AAHC), and Flint Alliance for Immigrant Rights (FAIR) invite our community to come together for a special learning event on August 29th exploring the connections between Black Liberation and Immigrant Justice movements.

Delma Jackson III and Robert White will be highlighting the history and significance of Black August and the lessons it continues to offer movements for justice, democracy, and community transformation today.

The Sankofa Project for Social Justice and FAIR will also be partnering on August 22 for our Community Teach-In. Delma Jackson III will lead us in an interactive conversation about how our stories and struggles intersect - and how solidarity, relationship-building, and collective action can move us toward justice and belonging.
