The Annual Juneteenth Celebration is upon us! ๐คโค๏ธ๐
Join us this Saturday, June 20, on the Flint Cultural Center campus for our fifth year celebrating Blackness throughout our community! The event begins at 11 a.m. with vendors and artisans to shop from, bouce houses and entertainment for kids to enjoy, food trucks, live entertainment by Mama Sลl & more! The traditional Freedom March begins at noon and will proceed down Kearsley St. from Crapo St., led by Hamady High School Marching Band. The entire FCC campus will be taking part in the event, including an official "Made By Us" Civic Season Wish Wall at Applewood Estate, arts and crafts under the FIA tent, and free face painting, book giveaways and balloon activities will be taking place down the street at the Flint Public Library. All institutions will be open to the public during the event.
