The Armory Church - Pontiac A "non-traditional" Christian Church movement of service and dedication to our True Purpose. Jesus was and is a radical. We, too, are radicals.

A physical and spiritual vigilante that served a High Power. His Gift to us was the Holy Spirit - our connection to our True Purpose. He has indwelt us with our mission: To wage spiritual warfare against The Enemy by loving the hell out of people. We accomplish this by:
#1 Seeking out and serving the lost, the disenfranchised, and the homeless.
#2 Empowering at-risk communities so that they can

defend themselves from Evil without reliance upon unworthy, unreliable, or purely political entities and institutions. We have identified (and perhaps you have seen) that "the church" is NOT what it was meant to be. It's not baptists, catholics, or any other flavor of religion. It's not "what we do on Sunday". THE CHURCH is you and I and how we choose to use our time, our resources, and our gifts to help others. Choosing Christ is a lot more than just believing. Your faith should be an outpouring of relevance to those around you. If it isn't, you need to ask yourself : Is this really faith? Jesus gave two ultimate commandments: Love God and Love Others. Then he showed us in Matthew 25 that even though "believing" gets you in the Book of Life, being in service to the Least of Us is what gets you to Heaven. Never forget that the "goats" were believers, too. And that demons probably know more biblical passages than any person on earth. The Armory Church is who we are. The Armor of Light Ministry is what we do. The Spirit of Fear has NO PLACE HERE.

Our church missions are called Platoons. 3rd Platoon is Child Protection, Recovery, and Response.
For the concerned public and for local police agencies we fund and maintain a database of conversations and evidence on pedophiles and predators.
While some churches collect funds to pay for nationally-acclaimed speakers on the subject, we put our time and energy into actually stopping the people that are trying to get to your children.

Playing Judas is interesting. Hated throughout history. One of the biggest a-holes in the Bible, right? Twisted. Ignorant. Lying.
Imagine spending a few years following Jesus and coming away with what? A better idea ? Like you're gonna tell Jesus how it's going to play out? Like you know better than He does? How He could be living larger if he listened to you ?

This wishful, blind and wretched SOB... Who is probably more like soooo many of us than anyone else in the Bible.

Yet Jesus could ONLY love him. In saying that "it would be best if he had never been born." But he wasn't talking about Judas' life. He was talking about Judas' punishment and despair.

Foretold, yes. A deceit known by Jesus in advance - yes. From before he ever met him? Yes. Probably our first example of "keep your friends close and your enemies closer". And Jesus could love the hell out of his enemies.

All culminating on Jesus' "last night on earth".

This year the target of our homeless outreach efforts is going to be around MLK and Cass in Detroit. While we are well situated in our resources and our processes, we still need to raise awareness and much needed funds to help Covenant House Michigan.

If you have the heart and some passion for helping the homeless, The Covenant House in Detroit is a great place to start.

Between 3000 to 4000 minors face homelessness each year in Detroit. Lets do our part to make their recovery as complete as possible.

Years ago our ministry visited Grand Rapids for the first time and we noticed how many young people were homeless there.
