For Jim and Andrea Ananich, giving back to Flint isn't just about where they've been. It's about the community they're helping build for the next generation.

The Ananich Legacy Foundation was born out of a shared love for Flint and a belief that the values that shaped us should continue to shape the community we call home.

On October 23, we invite you to be part of that legacy at our second annual Plate It Forward event. An evening bringing people together around community, connection, and the work still ahead. Because a legacy isn't just what we leave behind. It's what we build together.

Don’t forget to get your ticket!

He’s 50. Again!

And we figured the best way to celebrate Jim Ananich’s Second Annual 50th Birthday was to turn it into another excuse to support our community.

Founded in 2023, the Ananich Legacy Foundation was created to continue a family tradition of service, equity, and opportunity. Our purpose is simple: to help build a community where every resident has the opportunity to be heard, supported, and connected. Rooted in Jim Ananich’s lifelong commitmen...

Ever wondered how decisions get made in Flint, and how you can have a voice in them?

Civics and Citizenship is a hands-on workshop designed to help residents understand local government, who holds power, and how to engage beyond voting.

You’ll leave with tools to ask better questions, track decisions, and explore pathways to leadership.
