The bank may have been closed but Dort Financial employees were still hard at work today!

We are so thankful for the group of Dort Financial employees who chose to spend their day at Crossover Outreach sorting hats and gloves! Thank you all for using your day of service to help us prepare for the cold months ahead!

Thanksgiving: Families can receive a meal box filled with all the Thanksgiving staples to help make a special meal at home.

Christmas: Families and children will receive gifts to help bring a little extra joy and excitement to Christmas morning.

📅 Sign-ups begin Tuesday, October 13, in person ONLY, at Crossover Outreach during our normal service hours, 10am-2:30pm.

Together, we can make the holidays brighter!

We are grateful for our partnership with Re-Connections! Thank you for all the amazing work you do for the community!

🤝 Partnership Friday

At Re-Connections, we are grateful for the organizations that continue to show up for our participants and our community.

Today, we’re highlighting Crossover Outreach and thanking them for the many ways they support Re-Connections. From opening their doors and allowing us to host classes in their building to providing suits and dresses for our graduates on Achievement Day, Crossover Outreach continues to make a meaningful impact.

We also want to congratulate Crossover Outreach on being named a finalist for the Impact 100 Genesee County grant! This recognition reflects their continued commitment to serving and strengthening our community.

Thank you, Crossover Outreach, for continuing to show up, support our graduates, and be a valued part of the Re-Connections community. 💙

We’re currently running low on a few everyday essentials that make a big difference for the individuals and families we serve.

With the colder months quickly approaching, help us furnish homes with warm blankets and bedding and ensure everyone has the clothing they need to stay cozy this fall.

If you’re able to give, we are especially in need of:
- Blankets and Bedding
- Kids Clothing: Boys Sizes 5-8, Girls Sizes 24mo & 14-20
- Men's Clothing: Small and Medium Sizes

Donations can be dropped off at Crossover Outreach (414W. Court St.) during our regular donation hours: Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (limit four bags/boxes per drop-off)

Thank you for continuing to show up for our community with such generosity and compassion.

What an incredible experience it has been to be part of Impact 100 Genesee County’s Big Give! We are so proud to have been among this year’s finalists and grateful for the chance to share our vision for refrigerated food lockers and how they could expand access to food for families in our community.

To stand alongside Adopt A Pet of Fenton, Michigan, Franklin Avenue Mission and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint, each of which are doing such important work, was truly an honor.

A huge congrats to Active Boys In Christ on taking home the $100,000 grant! We are so excited for you and for what this investment will mean for the young people you serve. We can’t wait to watch your skilled trades programming continue to grow and create even more opportunities for young people in our community.

Thank you, Impact 100, for believing in local nonprofits, bringing organizations together, and creating opportunities for transformational change right here in Genesee County.

We’ll have the chance to share what Crossover is working toward and how this project could help us better serve our neighbors across Genesee County.

We’re honored to be part of this incredible group of nonprofits and thankful for everyone who has supported us along the way. We can’t wait to share our vision tonight! Wish us luck!
