Genesee County Prevention Coalition The GCPC coalition goal is to impact substance use and mental health concerns in our community in hope of changing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors.

We are a diverse group of people working within the community to develop new and different methods to prevent and reduce substance use and mental health disorders. We believe in our collective and individual responsibility to ensure healthy, safe, and productive lives for all Genesee County residents through innovative strategies and community partnerships.

As we prepare for our Lunch N' Learn sponsored by Molina Healthcare tomorrow, we'd like to thank our Youth Connections Magazine advertisers for their support. Mott Community College, Flint & Genesee Education & Talent, GISD Early Childhood & Parent Involvement, Flint Genesee Job Corps, Darcele Cole-Robinson, and Soberhood contributions help spread visibility of valuable resource information with community members throughout Genesee County.

We were glad to have honored by joining New Paths Inc at the Genesee County, MI administration building, and City of Flint to hear Tony Hoffman's story. It was a day filled with meaningful connection and reminders of the importance of those who do the work. Thank you to all our partners and a special thank you to Genesee Health System for supporting this initiative in our community.

The walk will go to the Genesee County Administration Building where Genesee County will host a Remember & Rise event that will feature opportunities to honor lives, connect, and learn about resources available in the community.
