We recognize that due to COVID-19 pandemic, some applicants for the Bishop Odis A. Floyd Scholarship were unable to submit all materials by the deadline, therefore we are extending the deadline to May 15, 2020. I’m still tired from this weekend, but I needed to say Thank You! I first want to thank God. I want to thank each and everyone of you who took the time out your schedule to come support the Bishop Odis A Floyd Memorial Foundation inaugural fundraiser event. I’m still overwhelmed by the turn out and all those who volunteered their services. The event was a huge success and we raised over $2,500. As my dad always said “People don’t have to be nice and they definitely don’t have to be nice to you, so when they are the least you can do is say “Thank You”. Thank you to the Board of Directors, the volunteers, those who attended, those who spoke. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue the Legacy of Bishop Odis A Floyd.
