Results are in from the St Francis Tent Sale at Good Shepherd Church in Montrose this weekend:
$775 profit plus a couple IOU’s and a big fistful of parade candy. 🤗🎊😎
Other benefits: almost all our stuff is gone (yesss…..) and a lot of different people had very meaningful connections with each other…..God is at work!! 👍🏼🙌
Huge thank yous to everyone who pitched in all along the way—-Fr Jonathon and Ann at Good Shepherd, staff and volunteers at the Center helping me prepare and load up, new friends and old generously giving up their time to sit at the sale and help with set up/take down. And thank you to all who donated items and shopped/donated needed cash to fund all the important work at the Prayer Center.
It’s an amazing thing to serve Gods people, allow His people to serve me and raise $ to continue to serve His People….. He is so good

St Francis Shop has 2 big events coming up:
TENT SALE in the parking lot of Good Shepherd Church in Montrose Aug 20-22 during the BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL (come shop—-we’re trying to clean out our cupboards!!). I could also use some help with set up and take downs. LMK if you’re interested—-each shift would take around an hour and involves lifting up to 40 lbs

ST FRANCIS PRAYER CENTER fundraiser Sept 25—-live broadcast online like last year plus a courtyard party. Tickets are $80 apiece. We are also accepting donations for prizes/gifts. Contact me for more details

I’m gathering volunteers to help with the next St Francis Shop event: a tent sale in the parking lot of Good Shepherd Church in Montrose Aug 20-22, during the Blueberry Festival.
Two “jobs” available: 1 hour shifts (that may be shorter than an hour) to help set up or take down each morning/evening. And 2 hour shifts of sitting with the donation box and greeting customers—-easy-peasy! Lmk if you’d like to help out
I’m learning to share in the fun—-learning NOT to do everything by myself 🥸😅

Our next big event will be a tent sale in the parking lot of Good Shepherd parish during the Montrose Blueberry Festival. I’m looking for volunteers who could sit at the sale during the days, (greeting customers and watching over the donations box) and/or people to help set up and take down each morning and evening. Message or call me—personally or through the Center. The more the merrier!!

Thank you to everyone for your support: donations and spreading the word! My garage sale/St Francis Shop Summer Clearance Sale raised well over $600. Together with random sales through the month of June, we turned in $900!! That helps put gas in our delivery trucks and helps pay our Consumers bill. Thank you, thank you.
