Today, we celebrated Women’s Equality Day with an inspiring afternoon of connection, reflection, and empowerment! 💐

Thank you to featured speaker Chief Carrie Edwards-Clemons and speakers Nancy Edwards and Captain Jillian Macey for sharing their experiences, wisdom, and powerful examples of women breaking barriers and leading the way. Their stories brought this year’s theme, “Together We Will,” to life.

A command-level leader with the Office of the Genesee County Sheriff, Jillian is only the second woman in the agency’s history to achieve the rank of captain.
