THANKSGIVING 2024 - SO MANY REASONS TO BE THANKFUL!!!

We were told Samaritan's Purse was sending volunteers. We expected 20??? ... maybe. Afterall, it was Thanksgiving Day. Never in our wildest dreams did we think they would send us 200!

In three hours (200) VOLUNTEERS raked and bagged 100 bags of leaves, cut down trees, cut and stacked wood, disassembled our crushed picnic pavilion, cleaned gutters, scrubbed the building inside from ceiling to floor and left our property clean and ready to use. It was incredible!!!!

Sometimes we need a little help from our friends. We are so thankful for Samaritan's Purse and all the volunteers that gave of their time and resources to help all of us affected by the storm. We are definitely better together!

IN THE SPIRIT OF COOPERATION ...

Last Friday and Saturday, eight of our community volunteers tackled our Fall Maintenance Projects. Many hands made light work and we are super thankful for all the help.

Together we were able to pressure wash the back deck and steps, remove the overgrowth off the back of the building and some of the fenceline, finish cleaning up the remaining Hurricane Helene wood debris piles from the tennis court and the edge of the property, pressure wash the front walkways, mow the lawn, wash the windows, wash down all the fronts of the kitchen cabinets and hall doors, and repaint the cabinets, doors and support poles.

THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS! ... IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!
