Young Life Clay County Clay County Young Life is out there in the world of kids, meeting them where they are, accepting them Young Life has been in Clay County for over 25 years.

Every Monday evening at 7:27pm, we meet at "The Barn" located at Grace Anglican Church, 5804 Highway 17 South on Fleming Island. We are excited to be a part of the community and we are looking forward to a great year. Thanks for your involvement and interest.

Ask a kid about camp and they might tell you about the lake, the food, or something that made the whole cabin laugh.

Ask a Young Life leader and they might tell you about the conversation that happened afterward.

Camp gives kids room to have fun, be known, ask honest questions, and spend a week with adults who care about them. This past year, 93 kids and leaders took part in camp with Young Life Clay County.

At our banquet on November 8, you’ll hear why we keep making opportunities like that possible. Join us for dinner, celebration, and stories from the world of kids.

Maybe it was a leader who kept showing up. A week at camp that changed your life. A living room full of laughter. Or the place where you first heard how much Jesus loves you.

For 40 years, Young Life has been part of stories like these in Clay County. As we prepare for our STILL anniversary celebration, we want to hear yours.

Whether you were involved in 1986 or just last year, what has Young Life meant to you?

We’re gathering memories, photos, and short video stories to help tell the story of these past 40 years. You don’t need a polished speech or fancy camera. Just you, your phone, and a story worth sharing.

You may have seen our leaders at a swim meet, a volleyball game, a football game, or lunch on a Monday.

That’s where many Young Life stories begin: someone shows up, learns a kid’s name, and keeps showing up.

Today, our staff and volunteer leaders know close to 300 young people by name across our programs for high schoolers, middle schoolers, teen moms, and young people with special needs.

Two years ago, 59 kids and leaders went to camp with Young Life Clay County. This past year, that number was 93.

We love seeing more kids get the chance to go. But the number only tells part of the story. Behind it are kids who found a place to belong, leaders who showed up for them, and conversations that continued long after camp ended.

Come hear some of those stories at our 40th Anniversary Celebration Banquet. We’d love for you to see what’s happening with kids across Clay County and where we hope to go next.
