Calling all directors!
We are already looking to the 2026/27 season of shows.
These should be shows you want to direct for FCT during the next season.
Shows proposed for the 2025/26 Season that made the short list (for voting) do not need to be resubmitted.
We will consider suggestions for the following types of productions. This does not mean we will do one of each, they are just what types of shows we will consider for the season.
1) Holiday show- Prefer a Non-Musical production with an all ages cast.
2) Musical - Doors are wide open on this for the next season. Prefer shows not previously done by FCT or not done in the past 15 years. Should appeal to the general public and not just theatre people. Normally a summer production with an all ages cast but again options are opened up a bit on this.
3) Comedy/Drama - non-musical only. Features Adult cast (limited children). Traditionally a spring production since there are fewer students available due to school productions.
4) Junior Production - this can be a musical or non-musical show for our students in grades k-12. Junior productions work best for FCT during the Fall/Winter since many of our students participate in FASD shows in Middle School and High School which happen in Spring
Submissions must be sent via Email to [email protected] by March 30th.

Include:
Show’s Title
Synopsis
Cast compliment (how many men/women/children)
Set requirements
A brief director’s vision for the show and why you feel it appeals to ticket buyers and our audience.
**New Directors to FCT - please include a short biography or resume for consideration
Submissions Copied and Pasted from the internet will not be considered.

FCT is committed to the education and development of our membership within the theatre arts program by offering opportunities to all ages both on-stage and behind the scenes. We are an outlet of quality musical, dramatic and ensemble productions. We encourage & support local youth to pursue performing arts opportunities through school, church, collegiate or other local productions.

We are a destination for:
