The Wholeness Center is hiring for a part-time 20 hrs/week Rural Outreach Advocate.

We are looking for someone who has experience with human services (pref. direct services) and confidentiality, and is knowledgeable of local resources. This position also includes shelter work - so you must be comfortable assisting with maintaining the shelter, working with clients, and taking the 24/7 crisis line. You must have ability to travel during work hours since staff transport clients in their own vehicles.

The Wholeness Center and all other similar DV/SA programs throughout South Dakota experienced huge VOCA funding cuts this year. Many of these programs have also seen major increases in the number of clients and services provided annually. This upcoming listening session is the closest session to Moody County that will be held by the SD Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.

We are looking for someone who has experience with human/direct services and confidentiality, and is knowledgeable of local resources.
