NAAFC was created by Charlotte Peterson, a long time foster care provider. She began to realize how many people didnt really un

derstand how fostering animals could be so important to local shelters. If there were more people willing to open their hearts and homes for a week, two maybe even a month or so for an injured or young animal then maybe a coalition could impact the euthanasia numbers in our communities.
