Hello NAU Bands Alumni,
We’re excited to announce that the NAU Alumni Band is returning for Homecoming Weekend, October 16-17, 2026! After the success of last year’s event, we’re expanding the experience and adding more opportunities to reconnect with friends, spend time with current students, and celebrate being part of the Lumberjack Band family. Whether you graduated recently or decades ago, we’d love to welcome you back to Flagstaff.

What’s Planned?
Friday, October 16
🎺 Attend Lumberjack Marching Band rehearsal (optional)
🤝 Visit with current students and reconnect with your section
🍔 Alumni social gathering at Bun Huggers

Saturday, October 17 - Homecoming
🎶 Alumni Band rehearsal in the morning
🎵 Optional roaming Alumni Pep Band performing around Homecoming tailgates
🏈 Reserved seating near the Lumberjack Marching Band during the game
✨ Join the Lumberjack Marching Band on the field for a special halftime performance (no marching required!)

Sunday, October 18
💙💛 Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Brunch hosted by Gamma Kappa and Alpha Chi Chapters (RSVP on the Alumni Band form!)

Not Interested in Performing?
That’s completely okay! This year we’re intentionally creating opportunities for alumni who want the Homecoming band experience without necessarily picking up an instrument. You’re welcome to join us for the social events, tailgate
activities, game-day atmosphere, and alumni gatherings without participating in performances.
