Flagstaff Freemotion is starting the next chapter!

We are thrilled to announce the return of Flagstaff Freemotion in the Fall of 2026, in a new dance space that we hope will inspire you from within. Imagine dancing in a circle on a sprung pine wood floor with glowing lotus flowers above you…….Yes this is just a small piece of magic we hope to bring later on this year. My first introduction to Rumi was through a modern dance company at the University of Georgia performing a piece to this poem. I was working back stage and in utter awe of the simplicity of these words and the dancer's movement. Every step, head tilt, and gesture arose from the dancer's center....
