Join us August 20th at Snowbowl. Our festival features entertainment, food, and a special celebration of cancer survivors.

Whether it’s a cardio challenge, a casual stroll, or a meaningful tribute walk, this event—a Northern Arizona tradition—is about the next mountain we all face, together. Climb to Conquer Cancer is a one day event, where teams of any size participate in a hike through beautiful mountain scenery, and take part in the

festival area. Each team of 10 or more participants has the opportunity to submit their own artwork for the back of their t-shirts, and to participate in fundraising for the event. Because Climb to Conquer Cancer is a non-competitive event, anyone and everyone can participate. Teams form from businesses, clubs, families, friends, hospitals, churches, schools and service organizations. These individuals all share a common purpose - their support of the American Cancer Society's Mission. Climb to Conquer Cancer is a unique activity held by the American Cancer Society in our western states. It is a unique event that offers everyone in a community the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Climb to Conquer Cancer represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

As we pause at the close of the year, we’re reflecting with deep gratitude on the people who make this movement possible. Because of our climbers, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, more people facing cancer in Northern Arizona are supported with hope, care, and connection when they need it most.

Our office will be closed for the holiday, but our mission continues — and we’re stepping into January energized, inspired, and ready to climb higher together. With exciting growth and meaningful evolution ahead as we look toward 2026, we can’t wait to continue this journey with you.
