ecoculture Scaling up global reforestation efforts through the interaction of ecology, art, and entrepreneurship

We work with communities around the world to design, fund, and implement natural resource management strategies with ecological, social, and economic benefits. At heart, our goal is to catalyze a culture of conservation by celebrating nature-culture interactions.

"To plant a forest is to believe in tomorrow." 🌲✨

Healing a landscape after a fire doesn't happen overnight. It takes muddy boots, heavy packs, and a shared commitment to restoring the ecosystems that sustain us. Step by step, seedling by seedling, we are putting down roots for a resilient future.

Out of the three projects we just wrapped up, we went 3 for 3 on snow days the first day of each project. But it made for great ground and happy trees! These efforts helped to reforest lands in Colorado affected by the East Troublesome Fire and forests of northern New Mexico that have experienced large scale beetle die off.

For the last two weeks, our team and our partners at GE Forestry have been dancing with the snow in Colorado and Northern New Mexico. We just wrapped up 100,000 trees planted in TEN DAYS! Stay tuned for more footage from this great trip.

How about some good news for once?? Spring has sprung in the desert and riparian trees are in full bloom. Once harvested, these seeds will be used to grow tens of thousands of native trees that will be planted on rivers across the Southwest.

We had a great view of the ongoing prescribed burn while planting last week. Not often you can catch the protection of today's and production of tomorrow's forests all in one shot.

So long for now! We just wrapped up our 2025 planting season on the U.S. Forest Service - Coconino National Forest. It's been a special treat to get involved in a great project right on our home turf of Flagstaff, Arizona. Thanks to all the volunteers, collaborators and Forest Service partners who helped to complete this project.

Ecoculture and partners just wrapped up our 2025 reforestation efforts on the Coconino National Forest. In total, 40,000 trees were planted, part of a larger and long-term effort to reforest areas impacted by the 2010 Schultz and 2022 Pipeline Fires. Special thanks to our partners at KOHO4HOPI for an amazing planting crew!
