This Saturday May 13th is National Train Day. We will be open from 10am-2pm and running trains for visitors. Also we will have a display setup at the Amtrak Depot downtown. Come out and visit us.

At todays meeting, the new propane off-load at Hill Valley was “test fit” for its new home. The structure was kitbashed by member Ted F. and it looks great! Next steps will be further detailing the structure and some additional painting. Photos show some before and after photos of the installation.

Fun Fact Friday:

Our club has been located in its current spot since the late 50s! The layout was and still is built for public viewing during the Coconino County fair. Through the years, the layout has seen track changes, town and scenery changes, as well as the addition of N-scale and HOn3.

Come and pay us a visit on the second Saturday of every month at 10AM!

Fun Fact Friday:
The Flagstaff Model Railroad Club is the home of Mountain Pacific Lines. A fictional railroad connecting Seattle to Mexico, by way of Ogden and Flagstaff. In particular, our layout depicts the section of railroad running through our home town of Flagstaff.

Come and see the layout for yourself at our open house tomorrow between 10 AM and 12PM at Fort Tuthill! See you there!
