Next week, Coconino County K9 Partners will be covering the cost for Navajo County K9 handler, Nathan Ostertag to attend the HITS K9 Conference. This is an excellent opportunity for a fellow handler to gain valuable training, learn from some of the best in the industry, and bring that knowledge back to better serve his community.

Supporting K9 handlers and strengthening law enforcement K9 programs throughout our region is exactly what Coconino County K9 Partners is about.

Stronger handlers. Better K9 teams. Safer communities.

🍻 Cheers to beers that make a difference to rescues!

Head to Flagstaff for the Historic Brewing Company’s Hot Dog Days of Summer, a dog-friendly taproom celebration from 2 to 6 p.m. July 18 at Historic’s Eastside Taproom in Flagstaff

– benefiting Dr. Kelly’s PAL Fund, which helps provide free and subsidized surgical care for pets whose owners need financial assistance.

The afternoon will bring together 🐾 adoptable dogs from High Country Humane, 🌭hot dogs from Dober Dogs, 🍖 dog treats, 🎶 live music, 💕 local animal-loving organizations and the release of the new collaboration beer – Dog Days Witbier, a 4.6% ABV beer brewed and canned in Flagstaff! 🍺

🚔🐕 A Huge Thank You to Jett Towing! 🐕🚔

The Coconino County K9 Partners would like to extend our sincere appreciation to JETT Towing Dallas Johnson for their generous donation of a vehicle that will be used for police K9 training.

This vehicle will immediately be put to good use next week during the Handler Survival Seminar in Prescott, hosted by the ALECA (Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association). Realistic training props like this are invaluable, allowing K9 teams to train in scenarios they may encounter in the field and helping handlers and their partners develop the skills needed to stay safe and protect our communities.

Community partnerships like this make a lasting impact on law enforcement training. Thank you, Jett Towing, for investing in the safety and success of our K9 teams. Your generosity will benefit handlers and police dogs from across Arizona for years to come.

On behalf of Coconino County K9 Partners, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our 2nd Annual Co****le Tournament an incredible success!
Because of the generosity of our amazing community, dedicated players, volunteers, donors, and sponsors, we raised an incredible $36,900.94 to support the law enforcement K9 teams serving Northern Arizona.

A very special thank you to Munds Park RV Resort, for your outstanding partnership and hospitality.

Congratulations to our Co****le Tournament champions and raffle prize winners! We hope you enjoy your well-earned prizes, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who participated. Whether you walked away with a trophy, a raffle item, or simply enjoyed a great day with friends and family, you played an important role in helping us achieve our fundraising goals.
We are also incredibly grateful to every business and individual who donated raffle items, sponsored the event, volunteered their time, and came out to participate.

Seeing our community come together to support these hardworking K9 teams is truly inspiring. We couldn’t do this without each and every one of you.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for helping us continue our mission of supporting these K9 teams. We have some exciting projects in the works and can’t wait to share what’s in store.

Deputy Bauer and K9 Ace recently had the opportunity to demonstrate the incredible teamwork, training, and capabilities of a law enforcement K9 team for students attending the ALEAD Academy.

The Arizona Leadership Education and Development (ALEAD) Academy is a leadership program that helps develop Arizona's future leaders through education, mentorship, community service, physical fitness, and exposure to careers in public service. The program provides high school students with valuable leadership skills and experiences designed to make a positive impact in their communities.
