The Flagstaff Chili Festival has done it again! The 2024 Arizona State Red Chili Champion Don Cullum of Houston, Texas was just proclaimed the 2025 World Champion in Red Chili at the World Championship Chili Cookoff held last weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the second time one of our champions has gone on to win the Worlds! And Don's wife Karen, who also does well at our cookoffs in Flagstaff (She is our current Red Chili State Champ) won the Homestyle Chili division at the WCCC too! The Flagstaff Chili Festival always attracts world class chili cooks. If you can cook well against the field in Flagstaff, you are primed to do well at the WCCC. The 2026 event will be held August 1 and 2 at Thorpe Park, hope to see you there!
