The Northern Arizona Book Festival is seeking applications for Flagstaff's next Youth Poet Laureate!

If you are between the ages of 18-24, passionate about community building, youth advocacy, and the transformative possibilities of literature and the arts, this role could be for you!

Applications due July 15th, 2026 with the term starting September of 2026.
To apply, please email [email protected] and include:
-a cover letter addressing your interest and qualifications
-a writing sample (up to 5 poems or 5 pages of prose)
-a résumé/CV

This immersive event is fun for the whole family, and will feature free books, a variety of literary activities and more!
