Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams

Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona is an independent council of Girls on the Run International established in 1998 in Charlotte, North Carolina by Molly Barker. Over 170 Girls on the Run councils served 80,000+ girls in 2010.

As our season gets closer to the finish line, we’re reflecting on something just as important as the miles our girls have logged: the sense of belonging they’ve built along the way.

Over the past several weeks, girls across Northern Arizona have found teammates who cheer them on, coaches who see their strengths, and a space where they can show up exactly as they are. Through every practice, shared laugh, challenge, and cheer, they’re learning: I belong here. I matter.

We're looking for volunteers to assist with event setup, water stations, participant support, cleanup, and other behind-the-scenes roles that help create an amazing experience for our girls and families.

Across Northern Arizona, girls are building confidence, discovering their strengths, forming meaningful connections, and learning just how powerful their voices can be. But for many of our participants, financial assistance is what makes crossing that starting line possible.

Heart Power is growing all across Northern Arizona!

We’re already in Week 3 of our Hello, Bold Heart! season, and our girls are discovering just how powerful it can be to tune in to what’s happening in their thoughts and hearts.

At practices across our communities, girls are learning to reflect, express what they think and feel, listen to others, and use their voices with confidence and care. That’s Heart Power in action!
