Even after all that clothing we donated on our last haul, we still had more to give to another great cause!

We separated out the summer clothing, bedding, and a couple bags of food, and brought it over to

In total we were able to donate:
•13 bags of clothing
•3 bags of bedding
•2 bags of canned / dry foods

We feel incredibly grateful to be able to pay it forward to those who need it most! If you’d like to help out, they are still in need of summer clothing, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and disposable plates/silverware.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible! We couldn’t have done this without all of your generous donations over the last several months! 🌲⛰💚

Remember the clothing drive we ran over the past few months? Our original plan was to give it to Savers in exchange for a monetary donation for our non profit. Unfortunately that did not work out, so we came up with a better plan!

We decided to reach out to Sharon’s Attic, a local thrift store whose mission is to help survivors of domestic violence. Sharon's Attic benefits and grows awareness of Housing Solutions' affordable housing programs, including Sharon Manor Transitional Housing.

In total we donated 24 bags + 12 boxes of clothing, as well as some household odds and ends.

We were honored to be able to give this clothing to a good cause where it will be most appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this clothing drive, and know it has been payed forward in the best way possible!

It may still be early on in cleanup season, but we have a lot to show for it so far!

So far this year we’ve completed 3 cleanups. Between them, we’ve picked up a total of 353lbs of waste all together! This includes:
•30.8lbs Glass
•22.8lbs Plastic/aluminum cans/bottles
•18.2lbs bulk recyclable metal

That means we are already 35% closer to our goal of 1000lbs this year!

We owe so much of this to our amazing volunteers who take the time out of their weeks to get their hands dirty to make the world a better place!

If you want to join in on the fun, hit the notification button on our profile to be notified when we have upcoming events!

Thank you all for all your hard work in helping us Keep Flagstaff Green 🌲⛰💚

The Earth Day event today at Bushmaster Park by the City of Flagstaff was so informative and fun!

We had the pleasure of participating in the cleanup, with our group tackling the neighborhoods West of Bushmaster Park (circled in green).

The bulk of our group volunteers were from the various Starbucks in Flagstaff, who were also nice enough to provide free coffee to all the vendors and volunteers! Our group also had the help of some volunteers from Desert Financial and the Arizona Conservation Corps.

After the cleanup, Clean Flagstaff Project met a lot of nice new friends who also want to help Keep Flagstaff Green 😄 including Alfred the Sustainability Squirrel!

We had a blast meeting everyone today and can't wait to meet again at one of our next cleanups!

Earth Day 2022 marks Clean Flagstaff Project's one year anniversary! This time last year, Clean Flagstaff Project was formed out of our shared love of environmental conservation and our Flagstaff community.

We have met so many wonderful people over this past year, who helped us remove 1,522 square feet of waste from Flagstaff in 2021. Our goal for 2022 is to remove 1000 pounds of waste from Flagstaff parks, trails, neighborhoods and roadways!

Our 1st cleanup this past April 12th with
we were able to remove 28.2 pounds of glass and 13.6 pounds of plastic bottles and aluminum cans that we were able to recycle.

We could not have done it without the support of our volunteers and community ❤️ We look forward to all the great things we can accomplish together in our mission to Keep Flagstaff Green!

If you would like to volunteer your time or donate money or supplies please DM or email us at [email protected]
