This is the moment we’ve been building toward!

Over the past couple of months, nearly 100 people from this community applied to bring something to The Mosaic Gathering. The lineup you just looked at is what emerged from that.

More than 75 scheduled contributions: Workshops, performances, installations, spaces, experiences, all created by people in this community who have been putting real time and care into what they do.

These aren’t just names on a schedule. These are people we know. People who have been honing their craft, exploring their edge, and are now stepping forward to share it.

Mosaic is simply the container where it all comes together.

And what makes it meaningful isn’t just the people creating it. It’s the people who show up for it.

Every person who comes out to Gateway Ranch for Mosaic is part of this. You’re not just attending, you’re supporting artists, supporting small, community gatherings that prioritize purpose over profit, and helping create a space where people can express themselves fully and be met in it.

If you ask me, that makes our little homegrown Mosaic Gathering 100X more meaningful than any giant mega festival.

So if this resonates with you, if you want to be part of something like this, not just to support it, but to experience it, contribute to it, and take something real from it… we’d love to have you there.

Tickets are still at $100 for now, but as we start sharing this lineup more widely, I can’t promise that ticket price will last.

Happy New Year, Sondering family!

2024 has been a year of remarkable growth, a few hard lessons learned, and countless moments that reminded us why this community is so incredibly special. As we theorized, there is no proven step-by-step playbook for creating an accessible, purpose-driven community, whose culture is rooted in healing, growth, and mind-body-spirit expansion, and also isn’t a cult or a commune, and doesn’t have a centralized governance structure… but through trial and error—mostly wins and a few stumbles—Sondering’s purpose, direction, and strategy have never been clearer.

This past year, we took a big step forward by transitioning Sondering into a DAO LLC—a fancy way of saying we’re officially committed to decentralized, community-driven leadership. In 2025, we’re evolving this even further. Be on the lookout for updates here!

In 2024, we continued to witness the collapse of the traditional music festival industry, as most of them fail to adapt to the evolving needs of the communities they claim to serve. People are seeking something deeper—something with meaning, connection, and a generational impact. The Mosaic gathering is our response. Mosaic is our annual community-built gathering that’s redefining what festivals can be. It’s not just another fleeting weekend; it’s an intentional celebration of life where we come together to create a legacy that spans generations—a space where we can bring our children, our parents, our art, music, wisdom, our dreams for the future, our willing hands, and our open minds and hearts. As we look to 2025 and beyond, we’re committed to expanding Sondering’s impact. Through projects like Mosaic and , we aim to grow our network of intentional gatherings while staying true to our core values of nurturing mind-body-spirit wellness, self-expression, acceptance, collaboration, and sustainability with a generational mindset. It’s an exciting time, and we’re grateful to have you with us on this journey.
