Last week, Coconino County proclaimed October 2026 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

Sharon Manor was honored to stand alongside Victim Witness Services for Northern Arizona, Northern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault, and Northland Family Help Center, working together to support survivors and raise awareness in our community.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that comes together to support survivors, foster understanding, and work toward a safer future for everyone.

Fall fun at JoJo’s Place!

Residents gathered to paint pumpkins, make fall crafts, and enjoy some snacks together. These monthly resident events, organized by JoJo’s Place’s on-site case manager, create opportunities for residents to connect, relax, and build a sense of community.

JoJo’s Place provides 44 affordable, transitional studio rentals for individuals and two-person households experiencing homelessness, with on-site case management to support residents as they work toward long-term housing stability.

Here is our Sharon Manor non-food pantry setup! 💜

A big thank you to everyone who has donated to help stock the pantry with everyday kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and cleaning essentials. These donations help residents have access to items they need, leaving more room in their budgets for other life essentials, like groceries.

Want to help us keep the pantry stocked? We welcome donations of new, unopened items.

We’re so grateful for this partnership and support! This $200,000 AHEAD grant will help us expand housing assistance and counseling services across Northern Arizona, creating more opportunities for individuals and families to access and maintain stable housing. Thank you for investing in our community and in the people we serve!

Stable housing can be the foundation for long-term financial stability. 🏠

That's why we're proud to support Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona through our participation in the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco's AHEAD Program. Together, we helped secure a $200,000 grant that will expand housing assistance and counseling services across northern Arizona.

The funding is expected to provide move-in assistance for up to 75 households and rental counseling support for approximately 150 households, helping more individuals and families access and maintain housing.

We're honored to support initiatives that expand opportunity and strengthen our communities.

This amazing group of Housing Solutions' staff have been calling Flagstaff’s apartment communities for nearly two weeks to collect information for our annual point-in-time rental data collection! 📞

You may not realize it, but Housing Solutions has been collecting this information for a decade—since 2015—to help track local rental trends. We use the data to compile and publish our annual Flagstaff Rental Availability Report, giving our community a look at rental availability and pricing across Flagstaff.

We’ll share our 2026 report when it’s live!

Today, our team had the privilege of visiting Sharon Manor to provide chair massages for staff and community members as part of Massage is for EveryBODY. We’re so grateful we could give back to the people who spend their days supporting individuals and families in our community.

Sharon Manor combines safe, decent, and affordable housing with critical one-on-one support to help individuals and families impacted by violence take life-changing steps toward self-reliance. They work to support as many families as they can, but they currently have a waitlist—and community support helps them continue this work and expand their reach.

This week I visited the new Izabel Street apartments that Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona is building at 2240 N. Izabel.
Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona

This project provides 11 three-bedroom apartments for families experiencing homelessness, families at risk of losing their housing, and survivors of domestic violence.

Rent will be based on household income so the apartments stay within reach of the people they are meant to serve. Applications will not be open to the general public. Housing Solutions will work through community partners who already serve these families.

The City provided the land through a long-term ground lease and helped with permit costs. That partnership, plus support from the Arizona Department of Housing and the work of Hope Construction, is what made this possible.

I want to thank Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona for being such a valuable partner in addressing Flagstaff’s housing shortages. They do the hard, steady work of turning limited resources into real homes for local families. This community is better because of them.

Eleven family-sized units will not solve our housing shortage. They will give eleven households a stable place to live. That matters. Proud of the progress.
