Did you know that learning a skill in one environment doesn't always mean it will automatically transfer to another? This is known as skill generalization.

💙 At Cedar Bridge Foundation, we recognize that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom!

That's why our programs emphasize hands-on experiences and real-world opportunities where adults with autism and related developmental disabilities can practice, strengthen, and apply the skills learned.

Yesterday, Cedar Bridge Foundation had the honor of supporting Flagler Schools’ Disability Employment Awareness Month Proclamation at the City of Palm Coast.
Employment is about so much more than a paycheck. For individuals with developmental disabilities, meaningful work can build self-confidence, autonomy, independence, purpose, and a sense of contribution and belonging within the community.

We are proud to stand alongside our community in recognizing the abilities, talents, and potential of individuals with disabilities and advocating for greater opportunities for meaningful employment.

💚 Thank you to everyone who came out in support of Disability Employment Awareness Month. Your presence helps send an important message: individuals with disabilities belong in our workplaces, our communities, and every space where opportunities are created.
