Fleur de Lis Camp Circle Week

Circle of Fleur de Lis is a free week long overnight camp experience for girls ages 9 to 13 who have experienced the death of a parent.

At Fleur de Lis Camp, we know the value of overnight camp. We know the value of play and engaging in healthy activities such as swimming, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, archery, arts and crafts, softball, basketball, and singing around the campfire. At Circle of Fleur de Lis we know the value of helping children talk about the losses in their lives. Circle of Fleur de Lis brings these together, so ou

r campers can have summer days of childhood fun, meaning, and bonding. Our program integrates traditional overnight camp activities with the opportunity to do “grief work” in a safe and caring setting, under the guidance of professional bereavement staff, surrounded by supportive peers. Campers are able to share their stories and remember the parent who has died. The program is entirely free to campers, and free transportation will be provided from two locations in MA and one in NH.

The success of Circle Week depends greatly on our generous volunteers. Whether in the capacity of cabin staff for the entirety of the program or coming up to camp for the day to teach a class or do some dishes, each volunteer is essential to the soul-feeding experience we aim to provide our girls.

WE ARE NOW RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS FOR SUMMER 2022! If you would like to volunteer with us, please inquire by contacting one of our Co-Directors. Circle Week integrates traditional overnight camp activities and fun with the opportunity to do some “grief work” in a safe and caring setting, under the guidance of an experienced Grief Team, surrounded by supportive peers. The program is ENTIRELY FREE to campers ages 8 to 15. Free transportation will be provided from one location in MA and one in NH.
