Sooooo I’m about to brag on my senior FFA officers for a minute, so y’all just bear with me…

These kids didn’t just help out with an Ag Industry Showcase… they ran it!

I’m talking from the idea → proposal → planning → phone calls → coordination → set-up → ex*****on. Every bit of it. And they didn’t just pull something together, they brought in a multitude of ag professionals and created a meaningful experience for our juniors and seniors.

Like… excuse me?? Who gave them permission to be this capable?? 😩😩😩😩

As an advisor, the goal is always to guide students into becoming leaders who can step into the real world with confidence, initiative, and grit. But every now and then, you get to witness it actually click—where they stop needing you and start leading on their own.

And whew… this was one of those moments.

I am so beyond proud of these seniors. Truly. The kind of proud that sneaks up on you and hits you right in the chest a little harder than expected. 🥹

They didn’t just represent our program well, they owned it. And I couldn’t be more proud.

The future of agriculture is in some very good hands. 🌱💛

OMG BEN HILL COUNTY!! 😩😭

We are absolutely blown away by your support—what an incredible first day! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our agricultural education program, and most importantly, our amazing students who have worked so hard to make this happen.

When I say there’s been blood, sweat, and lots of tears in that greenhouse—I mean it 😂 But every bit of it has been worth it. Watching our General Horticulture students step up, share their knowledge, and shine in front of the community… just WOW.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings 💚🌱✨

We racked up the ribbons at the State Rabbit Show in Perry! 🐰
Huge congratulations to Grayson Farrabow, who earned Reserve Champion Overall! Faith White also brought home two 1st place rabbits and Grayson finished strong with a 3rd and 4th place finish—what an incredible showing! Way to go girls!

And the wins didn’t stop there 🌸
Briana Ariaza competed today at ABAC in the State Floral Design CDE and brought home the State Junior Contest win! How amazing!!

So so so proud of these students and their hard work—what a heck of a Saturday for Ben Hill FFA! 💙💛

Mrs. Milner’s Horticulture and Plant Science class is wrapping up the semester with one of our most exciting units yet—Principles of Floral Design! 🌿🌸

This past week, students explored the fundamentals of design, color theory, and the techniques behind creating a well-balanced floral arrangement. To showcase their skills, each student designed two unique pieces: a simple bud vase arrangement and a festive Christmas wreath. 🎄🎅🏼

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, effort, and attention to detail shown by every student. What a beautiful way to end the semester!

WE ARE SCREAMING CONGRATULATIONS TO BEN HILL FFA’S VERY OWN BRIANA ARAIZA!! 🎉🎊👏🏼

Briana, a freshmen at Fitzgerald High School College and Career Academy, competed in the Area 5 Junior Floral Design Career Devlopment Event in Tifton and won first place!!!! Briana will compete in the State CDE at ABAC on December 13th!
✨Please join us all in wishing her luck and give her a well deserved congratulations if you see her!!!
