Before 16 Before 16 is a foundation designed to assist in hosting international orphans and to advocate for adoption before they age out of the system at 16 yrs old

ABOUT US

Before 16 is a nonprofit foundation built to care for orphans. We strive to get these children hosted by a family who is either considering adoption or will advocate for adoption. Our hope is that the hosting process can provide the avenue to find a loving family for each child. We are dedicated to rescuing as many orphans as possible before they turn 16 years old and age out of the syst

em. We partner a non-profit called Project 143, to help connect families with orphaned children and assist in funding hosting opportunities. Hosting an orphan is an amazing way to change a life and hopefully build a bridge between a child and a "forever family". We primarily help families by offering grants up to $2,000, but we also build awareness and help recruit families to host or adopt.

153 million children worldwide are orphans. We are proud advocates of hosting orphans, and we specifically assist in the process of hosting older children from Eastern Europe and Colombia where these young adolescents often "age out" and find themselves on the streets.
