Congratulations to the graduates celebrated at last night's McKenzie Regional Workforce Center Pre-Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony! 🎓

MABA was proud to be part of the event, recognizing the accomplishments of the Fall/Winter cohorts as they take the next step toward careers in the skilled trades. Pat Hatlan spoke on behalf of MABA during the partnership portion of the ceremony, and attendees also heard from Pedro, a past graduate who was hired by MABA member Cru Concrete, Inc. two years ago and shared his journey from the program to a successful career in the industry.

We're grateful for the partnerships that help create these opportunities and look forward to seeing what these graduates accomplish next.

Future builders and designers in the making! 🏡✨

MABA was excited to support the Lodi Elementary School “Dream House” Project, where 5th grade students explored creativity, design, and what makes a house feel like home. Students researched homes and brought their ideas to life by designing their very own dream houses!

A big congratulations to Jesslayn and Axl, whose designs were voted as the top two by their classmates. They each were awarded Madison Parade of Homes tickets. 🎉

Hands-on learning in action at the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center 🔨⚡

Students from Capital High School are gaining real-world skilled trades experience through electrical and construction work including installing wiring, electrical boxes, drywall, and outlets. Opportunities like these help prepare the next generation of industry professionals through practical, hands-on training and career exploration.

Great work as these future trades professionals continue building valuable skills both in and out of the classroom!

Today, the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center welcomed students from the Sun Prairie Middle School AVID Program (Advancement Via Individual Determination) for a hands-on introduction to careers in the skilled trades! 🔨🏗️

Students explored different areas of the construction industry through interactive activities while learning about the many career opportunities available in the trades. Experiences like these help connect students to real-world career pathways and showcase the value of hands-on learning.
