Ford Future Nurses Scholarship exists to encourage excellence in nursing, character, leadership and community service. Scholarships are the primary focus on this organization and will be awarded to second (2nd) third (3rd) or fourth (4th) year nursing students who demonstrate excellence in academics, practical nursing, moral character and community service. One such service can be participating in

and assisting with scholarship fundraisers. Scholarship candidates will also be asked to participate in the annual fundraising activities for the Future Nurses Scholarship as a “Pay It Forward” commitment to future scholarship candidates. Scholarship candidates are required to complete a Pay It Forward (PIF) Leadership Service Project prior to receiving their scholarship. This service project emphasizes the value of service and leadership within the community, as well as developing compassion for others and other important skills.
