ARPO's Mission

To encourage and assist existing and future pet owners in providing a good quality life for their pets. To temporarily shelter stray, abandoned, neglected, abused and surrendered cats and dogs in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment while providing the best quality of life and medical care possible. To promote pet ownership as a lifetime commitment. To cooperate with other animal-related organizations for the purpose of reducing the population of unwanted cats and dogs through adoption, spay/neuter and educational programs. To further educate the public regarding the important benefits of the human/companion animal bond. To promote respect for creatures of all species.

Poor Mama Arwen and her puppies have had a rough start. 💔 Between Arwen's mastitis, a UTI requiring antibiotics, and THREE ER visits, the medical bills are adding up fast. We're hoping to raise $2,000 to help cover their care!

At just 4 months old, this adorable Border Collie mix is learning that the world can be a wonderful place! 🐶

Dolly's story began in a puppy mill, where she had very little interaction with people. But thanks to her loving ARPO foster home, she's discovering what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. 💜

Dolly is looking for a patient, understanding family who will help her continue building confidence. Once she learns to trust you, her favorite reward is a good belly rub! 🥰
