💕🐾 Meet Nova | 4-Year-Old Cat for Adoption 🐾💕

In Latin, Nova means "new", a word this timid tabby isn't always a fan of. A new home... a new family... a new place to belong. These are all things she dreams of, but sometimes thinking of the unknown can feel overwhelming.

She's not the type of girl who trusts easily, but who can blame her? Coming to the shelter, her whole world has been flipped upside down, and when you thrive on consistent routines, big life changes can be pretty scary.💔

The good news? Nova has finally started to remember the comforts of home in her new foster. It's taken time, patience, and a lot of quiet moments to earn her trust, but with lots of hiding places and a consistent routine, she's starting to warm up to her new environment. She'll even walk up for a few pets when she's feeling extra cuddly.

We cannot be more grateful for every single person that came out to our Clear The Shelters $10 Adoption Event today! With the help of our community and supporters, we have 82 animals with a family to call their own tonight.

Only 2 hours left, and over 200 kennels are still full... 💔

The lobby has started to clear out, and the line to meet and greet with our adoptable pets has started to dwindle. Sadly for our animals, that means waiting even longer for the chance to live a life beyond their kennel walls.

But we’re not losing hope because so far today, 39 of our furry friends have found their way home! 💕 Out of our 9 featured pets, two have been adopted! We’re not done yet; there's still one hour left to add more names to this board.

If you've been thinking about adopting, right now is the perfect time to come in and meet your new best friend. Help us clear the shelter before 5 pm today, August 29th, while adoptions are only $10! (Some exclusions apply)

Our doors are officially open for Clear the Shelters, and it's up to you now to see how many pets go home today.

On average, dogs here wait 90 days, and cats wait 40
days before adoption, but these two pets have waited far, far longer. 😿 Piper and Boots have spent over a year as the most overlooked animals in our shelter, and they are starting to lose hope that someone will choose them.

Sweet Poptart Has Just a $10 Adoption Fee Tomorrow 💞🐾

This girl wandered in as a stray earlier this month, and she's quietly become everyone's favorite hello around here. She's about eight months old and 36 pounds. She takes her treats gentle as can be, and when the mood strikes, she drops down into the wiggliest little play-bow you've ever seen.

She's a young pittie mix with a whole lot of good ahead of her, still puppy enough that she's polishing up her house manners like anyone her age. She hasn't met many dogs yet, so bring the whole crew down and let's see the spark!
