HSEF had the opportunity to visit a Fall 2025 grant project at Fishers Junior High, where students stepped into the roles of medical professionals in an immersive hospital simulation. From diagnosing patients and running lab tests to practicing surgical procedures, they showcased incredible teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Recently, HSEF got to visit a Fall 2025 grant in action! Kindergarteners at Southeastern Elementary are benefiting from an innovative approach to building writing skills that brings occupational therapists into the classroom.

By strengthening visual motor development, reducing habits that lead to letter reversals, and promoting writing fluency, students are gaining confidence in their written expression and building skills that support future academic success.
