𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟏 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥! We've reached 19 of 39 ballistic windshields funded. Stay tuned for more details on the newest blue windshields as they move toward installation.

As awareness of the program continues to grow, we are engaged in ongoing conversations with departments across Indiana about bringing ballistic windshield protection to their officers.

If your department, large or small, wants to partner with us, we'd love to hear from you. And if you're a community member who would like to sponsor a ballistic windshield for an officer, deputy, or department that is meaningful to you, we'd be happy to explore the opportunity with their agency.

Reach out to [email protected]. We'd be honored to help make it happen.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of meeting with three Monroe County Sheriff's Office deputies whose patrol vehicles recently received ballistic windshield upgrades through a grant from the Remember Officer Noah Foundation.

We were honored to be there in person to see these latest installations completed.

These vehicles represent ballistic windshields #15, #16, and #17 funded by the Foundation. Monroe County is also the southernmost agency we have reached so far in Indiana as we continue expanding this life-saving program across the state.

Every installation is a meaningful reminder that Noah's legacy continues to protect those who serve. We are grateful to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office for partnering with us and for their commitment to officer safety.

Thank you to the donors, supporters, and volunteers who make this mission possible. Because of your generosity, Noah's legacy continues to create a lasting impact for law enforcement officers across Indiana.

Seventeen ballistic windshields funded. The work continues.

Noah and his Foundation have received many awards and recognitions since July 31, 2022. All of them have been fitting and deeply appreciated.

But there is something especially meaningful about recognition that comes from the federal government.

We felt it at the U.S. Post Office renaming ceremony in Elwood last summer. We felt it again on May 15 at the United States Attorney Awards hosted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Indiana at the Indiana War Memorial.

I had the honor of sharing Noah’s story and how it inspired the creation of the foundation in his name. After speaking to a room full of incredible public servants and their families, Laurie and I were honored with the Hometown Heroes Award.

As I said during my remarks:

We are deeply honored to accept this recognition. But the truth is, it belongs to Noah.

We are not the heroes. Noah is.

The fact that Laurie and I could even be considered for a Hometown Heroes Award says far more about Noah’s life, character, and impact on others than it does about us.

Everything the Remember Officer Noah Foundation does exists because of who Noah was and the example he set for all of us.

There is never an hour that goes by that we do not think about him, miss him, or wish he were still here with us.

At the same time, moments like this remind us that Noah’s impact continues to live on through the officers being protected, the communities being served, and the people he inspired.

Noah lived with a servant’s heart. He loved deeply, served proudly, and believed in helping people.

The Foundation is simply our way of carrying that forward.

I had the opportunity to speak to a room full of fleet managers from some of the largest law enforcement agencies across the country at the Cops Fleet Forum in Indianapolis on May 14.

Dana Safety Supply gave a powerful presentation on their BallisTech vehicle armoring solution, the evolution of officer protection, and their program to support officers after surviving incidents where ballistic glass and/or side armor saved their lives.

I then had the chance to share Noah’s story and remind everyone that officer survivability matters.

Every agency faces difficult decisions involving budgets, staffing, equipment, training, and priorities. But if there are ways to improve officer survivability, even incrementally, those conversations matter. Because in this profession, small margins can make an enormous difference.

At the end of the presentation, Dana Safety Supply awarded me, on behalf of my family and the Remember Officer Noah Foundation, the first-ever Warrior Prevails Award.

I love the final line inscribed on the award because it captures exactly what we are all trying to do to honor Noah’s memory:

“Because of you, more officers will go home.”

Some days feel heavier than others.
Today is one of them.

We miss the laughter, the smiles, and the moments like this.

We honor Noah’s life, his sacrifice, and the enduring impact he continues to make through the Remember Officer Noah Foundation.

Happy Birthday, Noah. 💙

On May 6, at the Hamilton County Law Enforcement Memorial Service hosted by the Carmel Police Department, we were invited to share Noah’s story.

What immediately came to mind was one of the iconic photographs from Noah’s life, taken in Carmel at a cross country meet when he was in junior high. It became the pillar of our message that day: “Finish the Race.”

If you know anything about Noah’s life, you know he faced many obstacles. There is nothing intrinsically special about that — everyone does. What set Noah apart was his unwavering will to persevere and overcome despite life’s many challenges, all while maintaining a smile along the way.

Thus, the second photograph bookends the first.

But in this one: Focused. Determined. Leading.

Same person. Same heart. Just years of growth, discipline, and a decision to never give up.

Thank you to Hamilton County, the residents of Carmel, the Carmel Police Department, and everyone in attendance for providing a platform for us to continue to share, grieve, and never forget — not only Noah, but all of those who have given so much.

On May 1, we were blessed to attend the dedication of the absolutely stunning Country and Community Service Monument at the new Fishers Community Center. We are grateful to Fishers Indiana Government for their work to honor those who have sacrificed so much for their country and community. Our Noah has a plaque on the back of the monument. What an honor!

We’re incredibly grateful to Indiana Bourbon and their End of Watch Legacy Fund for giving us the opportunity to set up a booth at their event on Saturday.

Because of that opportunity, we were able to raise nearly $500 for Noah’s foundation, share Noah’s story, connect with new people, and feel the strength of support from so many who continue to stand with us. We also made a connection that has the potential to grow into something truly meaningful, another step forward in carrying Noah’s legacy.

I’ll be honest, this kind of setting is outside my comfort zone. I’m an IT guy by trade, much more at home behind a computer than in front of a crowd. But something powerful happens at events like these. Conversations turn into connections, connections turn into momentum, and momentum keeps Noah’s impact alive.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, listened, supported, and believed in what we’re doing. This is how we keep moving forward, together.
