This special evening is American Legion Post 1985’s largest fundraiser supporting our Veterans Assistance Fund. This fund directly helps Northern Colorado veterans and their families who are facing financial hardship.

Thanks to your incredible support over the past three years, we’ve been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many local veterans. 100% of ticket sales go directly to this fund.

Hosting a lunch for our Veterans today. Thank you to Miss Donna and Joel for helping serve chili and chili dogs, veggies, cornbread, and cookies. Veterans eat free, all other for donation.

It is with a very heavy heart and I am very sadened to say our Auxiliary sister Laurie Nelson passed away last night. Laurie has been battling cancer for the last year and a half, today she was called home. Please give a moment of silence and a prayer for her and her family. Rest In Peace Laurie, you are deeply and dearly missed, until we meet again, God rest your soul.

Thank you to Daylight Donuts of Danoco for donating four dozen donuts and Taco Delight for the discount on breakfast burritos for the light breakfast prior to the Thank You For Your Setvice Run on September 6th.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to volunteer, enter cars, sell their crafts, and just have a great time today. Even with an early close because of bad weather moving through, it was a terrific day with lots of money raised for the Auxiliary Scholarship Fund!
