Back again in 2026, this year's Crop Management Field School is happening June 24.

The Field School will feature hands-on demonstrations and research updates focused on crop pest management, soil management and current production recommendations.

Agricultural professionals and farmers are encouraged to attend.

BURN RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT – STEELE COUNTY

Due to dry conditions, a Fire Emergency has been declared effective immediately.

Burning restrictions are based on daily Fire Danger Levels.
No burning during Red Flag Warnings.
All field/crop burning must be reported to the Sheriff’s Office.

In effect until rescinded or November 1.
