Don't forget: Your next 5 minutes could help shape our local economy!

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland has just launched the 2026 Business Outlook and Trends Survey (BOTS) in partnership with The Alliance, and your perspective is critical.

Why Your Participation Matters:
• Inform Policy Decisions: Your input helps inform the Fed, service providers, policymakers, and others—ultimately benefiting your business and others like yours.
• Early Economic Insights: Gain advance insights into regional economic shifts before they appear in national data—helping you make more informed business decisions.
• Community-Specific Analysis: When we reach 50+ responses from our area, The Alliance receives a local economic analysis based on our business community’s responses.

The survey takes five minutes to complete and closes on June 10.

Energy costs are becoming a growing concern for businesses across Ohio, and many companies are starting to look more seriously at long-term ways to control utility expenses.

In this episode of Chamber Amplified from the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, Doug Jenkins talks with Terry Nielsen of Superior Energy Solutions about rising electric rates, solar energy systems, battery storage technology, and the looming deadline for key federal solar tax incentives.

Much like the excitement and planning happening now for America 250, our community was celebrating another major milestone back in 1999 for Ohio’s Bicentennial in 2003!

Pictured here is a ribbon cutting for Hancock County’s Bicentennial Barn, located along US-224 East and painted by artist Scott Hagen. Commissioned by the state, Hagen painted the official Bicentennial logo on at least one barn in each of Ohio’s 88 counties creating lasting landmarks that celebrated Ohio’s rich history and heritage.

Looking back on moments like these reminds us how special it is to come together as a community to honor our shared story. We’re excited to help create the memories and traditions that will become part of our local America 250 history for generations to come!

Two ribbon cuttings, one unforgettable celebration!

Last week, we kicked things off with Call of the Canyon’s new location, then took a live walk-and-talk down East Sandusky Street to celebrate their second spot, Brats N' Tots!

We’re so impressed by their growth this past year and excited to see what’s ahead!
