It’s time for the 5th Annual Hops for Hope Walk! Join Hope House on Thursday, November 12th, as we come together to raise awareness about homelessness in our community.

For quite some time catofashions in Findlay has donated to us at the end of each season! From clothing to jewelry and shoes these were much treasured donations for our shelter residents. As they are closing we want to take a moment to thank them for all of their support!! Here is Shelter Manager, Joy Anderson picking up a recent donation.

Last week we asked the students and staff at the University of Findlay to write down one word that describes HOME to them. Whew, so many of the students miss their furry family! 🐶

When a person becomes homeless they lose so much more than tangible items. Thank you to all who helps us, help them gain these words back and more! 🧡

A little throwback reminder that we are collecting laundry detergent, hand soap and trash bags. Drop off anytime at the shelter and let’s see what category we can collect the most of!!

We are sending a thank you to Deb Anderson for sewing pouches for our residents and Sarah Stump for coming to the shelter to teach the ladies how to sew a button on. Knowing how to sew on buttons and do simple mending can help save money and reduce waste. Shortly after one of our residents asked if Sarah would be coming back because her daughter's book bag needs repaired. It was really special to see her make the connection and want to repair it.
