The purpose of Hancock County Saves is to promote and increase saving and debt reduction to produce financial stability among individuals and families in Hancock County through education and awareness facilitated by a broad base of community partners. Hancock Saves was founded in 2004 as a program coordinated by Ohio State University Extension in Hancock County through a grant from The Findlay-Ha

ncock County Community Foundation and was approved as a 501(c)(3) and accepted as a United Way Partner Agency in 2010. A broad base of community partners assist Hancock Saves with its mission of promoting and increasing savings and reducing debt to produce financial stability among individuals and families in Hancock County through education and awareness. The mission is managed and administered by a board of trustees made up of representatives of financial institutions, youth professional groups, non-profit agencies, businesses, and educational organizations.
