Our Summer Crisis Program is still accepting applications, and funding is available for eligible households.

You may qualify for assistance if:
You have a household member who is 60 years of age or older.
Someone in your household has a documented medical condition.
You are facing a utility disconnect.
Your electric service has been disconnected.
You need to establish new electric service.

Need help staying cool this summer? The Summer Crisis Program runs July 1 – September 30, 2026 and provides a one-time monetary benefit to eligible households during the cooling season.

✅ You may qualify if you:
• Are 60 years of age or older
• Have a completed medical form signed by a physician
• Have an electric account that is in disconnect, terminated, transferring, or new service status

💡 Assistance may include:
• Electric bill payment assistance
• Window air conditioner (AC)
• Fan

🎉 The First Semester School Clothes Program starts TODAY! 🎉

OhioMeansJobs–Hancock County is now accepting applications for our School Clothes Program, helping local children start the school year feeling confident and prepared.

📅 Applications accepted July 1 – August 31
(Or sooner if funding runs out.)
💵 Up to $275 per eligible child
🧒 Children must be 5–18 years old
👕 Program funds must be used to purchase school clothing
📄 Applications can be picked up at OhioMeansJobs–Hancock County
🏠 Households must be at or below 150% FPL to qualify
