Today was Lori’s last day at BVRSI as she begins her well-earned retirement after 31 and a half years of dedication to our organization and individuals.

To celebrate her final day, our individuals gave her a special Clap Out, and it was clear just how much she means to everyone. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing Lori, you know the incredible love she has for the individuals that we serve.

BVRSI will not be quite the same without her, but she will always be a part of our BVRSI family. We are so grateful for the years, memories, and impact she leaves behind.

Please join us in wishing Lori nothing but happiness in this next chapter of life.
Congratulations on your retirement, Lori! You will be deeply missed.

We would like to share the passing of Alison Foose, lovingly known as Al.
Al brought a sense of joy to those around her in so many simple, beautiful ways. Her fun, sweet, loving personality is what will be remembered most. Al was a devoted Ohio State fan, and she had a love for the color purple. She found happiness in coloring, being read to, and listening to music—especially her favorite song, “Amazing Grace”. She loved spending time with her mom, who visited her everyday…she enjoyed working on putting puzzles together.
Above all else, Al loved deeply. Her family, her friends, and her beloved dog and cat meant the world to her. Al had a bright smile, a bit of s***k, and a gentle, caring spirit that made everyone feel loved.
Al’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Please keep Al’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time.

Doug's Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 10th at 11am at Coldren-Crates in Findlay. There will be a lunch to follow, at the Family Life Appreciation Center at Coldren-Crates.
