Here’s the hospital post - if you can’t get them there, please reach out. We have a no touch drop off & would be happy to deliver for you!

We are asking for donations of sewn fabric masks as an added safety measure for our associates. The fabric masks do not replace the use of other types of PPE when needed and all sewn fabric masks should be combined with proper hand hygiene in order to reduce the transmission of infections. For a PDF of instructions, visit: bit.ly/bvhsmasks.

For more information or to donate, contact Marie Swaisgood, chief development officer of the Blanchard Valley Health Foundation, at 419.429.6414. Drop-offs can be made Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. or by scheduled appointment at 223 West Wallace Street in Findlay.

Hello, quilters, sewers, and sewists! I have received word from the hospital that they would like "as many cloth masks as we can make." I have a box on my porch that I'm collecting cloth masks for the hospital, so I can save you a trip downtown. :) PM me for my address. Otherwise, please drop off at 223 W Wallace, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 11AM-1PM.

How did we decide to start MPFF? Sucked into the information spiral that surrounds us, we came across this article. If they can do it, why can't we? And with a town like Findlay, we had no doubt you'd jump in and help out!

Rounding up masks from garages and construction companies and test kits from research labs, a hardscrabble grassroots army has begun supplying doctors and nurses on the front lines of the war on COVID
