Dear Arrowmen of Mawat Woakus Lodge,

Mawat Woakus Lodge, in conjunction with Black Swamp Area Council, prioritizes the safety of our members. That said, I regret to inform you that tonight's Winter Banquet has been canceled due to the severe weather forecast. Many of our members have to drive close to or over an hour to get to some events, and we do not want to risk the safety of any of those individuals.

Details of the postponement will be sent out later. Currently, we do not have a set date for the Winter Banquet. Once it is rescheduled, refunds will be available on a case-by-case basis. We understand that this may be inconvenient or that you may have frustrations, but safety must always come first.

Please be safe when out on the roads and stay warm.

In just a few short weeks, Mawat Woakus Lodge 449 will be holding our annual Fall Fellowship! Our event is located at Camp Lakota on September 20th through the 22nd with check-in starting at 6pm on Friday.

The theme this year is “Growing the Bonds of Brotherhood” where you will partake in cheerful service as well as many of Disney’s©️ “The Lorax” themed activities throughout camp! Another thing to note is that this will be the last big OA event using Meecheway as our dinning hall. Soon various kitchen items will be moving from Meecheway over to the new Hubbard Dinning Hall, so we want to make this event a memorable moment for everyone attending!

We can not wait to share this event with the Lodge and spend the weekend in fellowship with all of you. Registration can be found on our website, www.MawatWoakus.org, or on the council calendar. Mawat Woakus Lodge would like to give a HUGE congratulations to our very own Lodge Chief, Danger, for graduating from Findlay High School a whole year early! Your hard work and dedication have paid off! We are excited to see where your new accomplishment takes you in the future and we couldn't be prouder.

We would also like to take this time to congratulate ALL of our wonderful Lodge members who graduated this year! Way to go Class of 2024! We hope your future is bright, successful, and impactful. Take what you have learned in school, scouting, and the Order of the Arrow and apply it in your upcoming endeavors.

Greetings Arrowmen,

Do you want to enjoy a weekend full of cheerful service, fun and exciting activities, but most importantly fellowship with other Arrowmen? If this sounds like something you are interested in, look no further than the Mawat Woakus Spring Fling! This Ancient Roman themed weekend full of toga parties and fellowship will take place at Camp Berry March 22nd @ 7:30 PM through March 24th @ 10:30 AM. The registration link can be found below!

Over the weekend, we will participate in meaningful service projects and enjoy the company of your fellow Arrowmen. In addition, we will also have opportunities for you to participate in fun program activities spread throughout camp. Some of these program activities include scaling the Camp Berry climbing tower, throwing tomahawks, and various other shooting sports. All Arrowmen who come to the event will receive a special "2024 Spring Fling" event themed patch. The best part about this, you can register for a low price of $20. Those of you who have purchased the annual pass, please email us at [email protected] if you will be in attendance so we can account for you in our registration.

We cannot wait to kick off our 2024 camping season with this fun and exciting event! Hopefully we will see each and every single one of you out at Camp Berry for our 2024 Spring Fling!
