Inspired by two little mares that were mere hours from being loaded onto the slaughter truck, two horse crazy ladies decided to take the plunge and save them. Not knowing 100% what they were getting into, but familiar with rescue work. Thus started the journey and a month later, Lost Hope Rescue was created.

ISO: A horse facility or raw land to lease/lease to own so we can finally get our feet under us again! Tiffany is looking for somewhere to put her roots down into for the rescue as well as her lesson business. Any leads in the Ventura, CA to Ojai, CA area would be ideal!

Hey everybody! Due to the economic fall-out caused by Covid-19, we are finding, more than ever, that we’re needed. This pandemic has impacted horse communities in a way few could have foreseen. Over the past three years, we have focused on networking with private horse rescues, as we have not had a physical location, but so many rescues have reached maximum capacity. Many horse owners are facing financial insecurity and the difficult decision to rehome their beloved companions. More land and stalls are needed to save these horses. We at Lost Hope Horse Rescue are taking actions to fill this need. We are working to return with full force and will be launching a fundraiser in order to establish a permanent location where we can create a safe haven for horses in need! Stay tuned for more updates!
