It's time to make a decision about the cast party! We have two options and we need to decide tonight so we can all make plans.

Choice #1 - Friday, May 17 at Sandra Butts' home. She has a big back yard and says we might even be able to have a bonfire!

Choice #2 - Friday, May 17 at Josh Overton's home. Should be plenty of room for everyone inside, but it's in East Ventura (19 miles from Fillmore).

Feel free to leave a comment here about where you'd like to have the cast party, but we'll take the official vote tonight at 6pm in the basement. The party will be potluck, so we'll have a sign-up for items.

OK, Campers! The show is going great! Ticket sales are pretty good. Concession sales are pretty good. But we have a TON of shirts left! So, I want to offer a little incentive to all of you to sell as many shirts as you can! Each cast/crew member willing to taking part in this little contest can earn a $15, $20, or $30 iTunes card! Every member who sells 10 shirts gets a $15 card. Sell 15 shirts and get a $20 card! Sell 20 shirts and get a $30 iTunes card! Of course, if you would rather substitute the iTunes card for some other gift card, we can work with you. Mr. Overton will have order forms ready to hand out at school on Monday!

We had a GREAT first week of rehearsals! Thank you to the cast for being so attentive and receptive as we went through the tedious process of blocking the show.

This next week, we are going to rehearse a few scenes each night. I'm working on a paper schedule, but it would be great if I could just post the info here. Here's this week's schedule: 5-7pm each night

Mon - Act I, sc. 1-3
Tue - Act I, sc. 4+5
Wed - Act II, sc. 1-3
Thu - Act II, sc. 4-6
Fri - Act I, sc. 1-3

Reminder - if you are going to be late or need to miss a rehearsal, contact LISA.

Now that we are underway, please commit some time each night to learning your lines. Also, start looking for some clothing items and 80s-era paraphernalia (bracelets, sunglasses, hair scrunchies, parachute pants, leg warmers, etc.).

The cast list has been emailed! The script is attached! We couldn't read Jasmine Vasquez's and Kaileigh Carpenter's email address, so the email got bounced back. Message me with the correct info and I'll send the goods ASAP!

The script is coming in at a HEFTY 70 pages! There are still some alterations/additions to make and I hope to get them done today. I also want to get the cast list out to everyone tonight after auditions. Gonna be a busy Sunday!

We had a fantastic first night of auditions! The voices sounded great and the performers did well to overcome their nerves! I am so excited to see what surprises await us tomorrow night for the reading portion of the auditions!

We need adults! Especially men!
